About Dan
Born and raised in Jeffersontown, builder Dan
Smith has been involved in the homebuilding industry since he was a kid. His
interest in construction began in the eighth grade when he worked as a laborer.
After graduating from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Business Administration,
Dan worked for several years supervising the construction of large custom homes. In
1993, he founded Daniel J. Smith Construction, achieving Registered Builder status with
the Home Builders Association of Louisville. In 1995 he and a partner soon joined
forces to create Stonelake Homes. Then in 2006 he became a partner of Ferndale
Gardens, LLC. Today Dan can be found on the job sites daily, ensuring every project
is built to exacting standards of quality and craftsmanship. |

About Chad
As a second-generation home builder, Chad began
working in the industry at the age of 13 cleaning up jobsites for his builder father.
After college, he began building and remodeling on his own and has since accumulated an
extensive portfolio of completed projects and built a solid reputation for building high
quality homes. Chad’s many years of experience, attention to detail and creativity
truly set his homes apart from the rest. Chad and his company, Greenwell Construction, LLC
are members of the Home Builder Association of Louisville. |
